The Proper Suit - Liverano Single Breasted Peak Lapel Three Piece

One way to approach a bespoke order is to consider its intended use and then decide the details around that. Antonio and Taka, find it shocking that I do not own a “proper” navy suit (true story) so I decided to commission something that is formal and elegant without being black tie. A suit for big days and even bigger days where you want to be *dressy*; a garment for commemoration.

We used a fine English hop-sack suiting, coloured inky navy to let the cut and details speak for themselves. A peak lapel with a short but bold line is the only flourish to catch the eye. For Antonio, single breasted peak lapels are to be used sparingly but the choice was justified in this case. With a nod to formality the jacket was made with no vents. The rest is classic Liverano x Florence, with a trim waistcoat and flatteringly tapered trousers.
